Also status for profile that shows game count, or etc can be affected by games delisting from store, if a game get delist from Steam, may have a deduction on profile count for status such as game own count. Pleae note games are not removed from library, they remain in your library.
F2P games may not count towards status.
Course, what you said made me have a more important question: If Steam removes a game and I have it uninstalled, do I lose it then?
Callahan420: Is there a way to see if a game is that, or just assume it is because it's not listed?
Thanks for your replies. Still trying to learn. :)
It will tell you on the Store Page, same section that tells you if it has trading cards or achievements.
Here is an example of a game with Profile Features Limited
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1181000/UBERMOSHOMEGA/
And the game is profile limited. Nice to have a clear answer. :)
- You refunded the game.
- You redeem game via key, and game dev revoke the key. <--- not common at all, this normally relate to stolen keys sold on gray markets.
- Game dev convince Steam to revoke everyone game, and refund them all. <--- I think this only happens twice in history of Steam I know one of them was dirty bomb for DLC if bought via Steam they refund it automatically.
Now if the game store page is gone, then it wouldn't matter as like I said it won't count anymore, example on profile you have game count of ex: 101 games own, but one of the games delist now display as 100, but in your library it will still be 101 because games don't get removed from library at all.
For games still have their store page, to see if it under learning / profile features limited, you can go to the game store page, on the right side as you're scrolling you see it.
