so, i'm trying to get most seasonal badges this year and on, but for my reasons i can buy games for the summer sale, will the summer badge still be in the points shop after the sale?

Yeah, I don't think it'll go away once the Steam Summer Sale is officially over so you should be good until the next seasonal badge drops which won't be until around August or September the latest.

The seasonal profile is available for approximately 3 month, give or take. Until Valve changes it to the Fall profile.
