Save files gone after the Steam update

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry if it's the wrong place for it or has already been covered elsewhere. I'm a MacOS Mojave user and after today's Steam update, I've relaunched my game (Disco Elysium) as always and saw that the Load Game button on the menu was simply and inactive. When I checked the Library files, I've also realized that the saved games folder is empty other than "steam_autocloud.vdf" file.

What should I do to restore my game and salvage my old save files?

I greatly appreciate any help coming from your way : (

SOLVED! The format and directory of the save files got messed up after the update somehow. If you copy all the files at ~/Library/Application Support/com.zaumstudio.discoelysium/SaveGames/ and paste them at ~/Library/Application Support/ZAUM Studio/Disco Elysium/SaveGames all should be good.

Wow that sucked, thanks for this post! That fix worked for me too! Maybe it's caused by starting the game for the first time offline, I started playing on a plane. This is a dumb bug.

Here's how to do the fix from the terminal:

cp ~"/Library/Application Support/ZAUM Studio/Disco Elysium/SaveGames/steam_autocloud.vdf"
rmdir -r ~"/Library/Application Support/ZAUM Studio/Disco Elysium/SaveGames/" ~"/Library/Application Support/com.zaumstudio.discoelysium/SaveGames/"
mv ~"/Library/Application Support/com.zaumstudio.discoelysium/SaveGames/" ~"/Library/Application Support/ZAUM Studio/Disco Elysium/"
