access denied 5x0
I'm trying to start a game for the first time but it keeps giving me the access is denied 5x0 installation or update error, and I've tried all fixes shown but nothing is working. what can i do?

It's always best to ask in the game's own forum instead of in a general discussion section. Top right-hand corner of its store page -> Community hub.

It also helps on a general forum to actually say what game it is.

It's entirely possible that your anti-virus or firewall is silently blocking it for some reason. I had that issue myself over a year ago, and it turned out my Comodo Firewall had suddenly decided it didn't like any newly installed Steam games, always giving me that "access denied" error, but it took me a while to figure out why. Now I have Comodo set to always ask me first, at which point I'll always allow everything that has to do with Steam games.
