Wasn't that game published by EA? Might want to try on Origin to see what happens when you try to redeem it there.
this game has nothing to do with steam at this point in time, and most likely never will.
It's just a play of thought, that, if Steam is distributing the same Client as they build theirs upon, it should be possible.
your old activation keys are worthless. those keys are for the original game and the people making the private server have no access to those activation keys.
Its listed, it has a hub, it has a board. Theres still Gifts being traded, even if the prices are steep.
I just wonder if i could modify it.
Never said its coming to Steam.
But i was wondering.
Warhammer Online was once distributed over Steam.
I recently installed Battlefield 2 again, and here it was the same case.
Battlefield 2 had its Servers pulled, and the battlelog/bf2hub appeared to step in. You could modify the Steam Version to play on the unofficial Online mode.
My thought here was: The main Servers for Warhammer Online are gone, but if i had it on my Account, i could download/install it here on Steam, then get their Patcher into the Steam version, and somehow make Steam recognize it as executable for WAR.
But as it looks, i am the one here failing to communicate that, so case closed.
