i did not say you have this here. i can only hope it is.
do exit stream start steam again and check install content folder do not have broken part install or entry in there with them you try to restore. this is local file folder check, i hope you have a clue what i try to explan.
disk write error
also besure you have steam.exe on allow exception rule , even game own .exe , its seen before antivirus app even need game.exe added to allowed.
and same with qurrantie folder dont have content in there from game , even that will popup a write disk error.
ps.
even a pre-alllocation has been seen to pop a write disk error now from another user. but to my knowledge that not in a restore backup file more on a install from steam server.
keep in mindi dont use steam backup, then i have a backup server.
