Right clicking on client causes soft lock

Every time I want to play a game with my friends I right click their names on the selected game in my library causes a soft lock of the client. The right click menu doesn't even show up. It's there, just invisible. I can close the right click menu, but even after closing it, still soft locked. I can't use anything inside the window except for clicking Store, Library, Community, my profile and my friends list. But nothing in the middle. Only after I restart Steam. Doesn't help that I installed it on a HDD but I have literally no SSD with a large amount of space to install my client into let alone the funds for such SSD, THANK YOU COVID!

Ever since the new UI update I keep getting introduced to bugs. And not the bunny.
Like my client being nearly all black screen except for the above named features or my steam client literally freezing my PC which is something I'm still baffled about since it's not installed on my SYSTEM drive, not to mention it's not using so much CPU, GPU and/or RAM since I have good enough performance of each as followed.

Windows 10 Home
i7-6700 3.40GHz (not the best but it's doing the job)
16 GB RAM
RX 570 4GB VRAM

As said, the only minus in this is that it's installed on a HDD but HOLY F**** is the client buggy and laggy. Memory leaks? Nope. Borked client? Reinstalled, same sh*te happening. Flushed cache and cookies didn't even do anything positive at all.
I'm just so frustrated with this crap, it's my main platform yet it's such a buggy mess for me. Everything else works completely fine. No issues in games or other platforms. Just Steam and only Steam.
If anyone is the wiser about that problem (The soft lock on right click issue, not the black screen or PC freeze issue) please inform me about it. And please serious responses only, I won't take comments like "mOVe tO ssD" serious. For the record, my SSD is only 250GB.

Well, that's the thing. It's not Steam Beta.

But the Steam Client Beta forums is where the Valve developers who are working on the Steam Client will see your bug report. They often will even respond to your post there if they need more information. Any change that they make based on your report probably will be tested in the Steam Client Beta first. So it makes sense to post bug reports about the Steam Client there.

For now, just launch the game you're trying to play with your friends, and use your steam overlay keybind thing. Then right click on their profile there and click join game. It works for me
