Steam Wallet Funds
Hey, so weird question. I had a couple of VISA gift cards from way back that had some money on them. So I used a few of them to add funds to my account which totaled up to 25 dollars. Meaning I used 5 separate gift cards to add those funds. Now after I added the last one, on the bottom of my funds show a message with the following;

"You have recently added Steam Wallet funds with a new credit card or a credit card that hasn't been used in a while. Access to the Community Market will be restricted and purchased microtransaction items or gifts may be untradable until you verify ownership of the credit card.

So the issue is, will this affect my future purchases or transactions? I don't want their to be a trade hold on my account or anything of that sorts. And I have no idea how I verify ownership for a gift card. They were old gift cards that I had since like August. Is there anything I can do to remove that message?

Wait out the 3 days. That is the verification. You shouldn't have issues spending any of the wallet funds you have now after that.

The restrictions only last 3 days and won't have any permanent effect.

Oh ok, I was a bit worried this would affect me making purchases or trades on the market. Thank you!
