How to find what I want to find "Assassin's Creed" base game

I want to see what is offered by Steam from the Assassin's Creed franchise, but I want my results limited to only the base games. I want to see a list of just the Assassin's Creed releases, without also listing the DLC's or other games with a similar name or genre similar to Assassin's Creed.

How do I search Steam for EXACTLY what I want to see, and eliminate EVERYTHING else from the search results?

Is this possible?

Just search for "Assassins Creed" in the store search field and on the result page on the right, enable the "games" filter so it will only show those, not DLC or anything else.

Yeah. It's currently randomly switching from online to offline.

Steam is having problems for like the last 45 minutes for me.
Lots of random page crashes and loading problems.
Give it a few minutes and try again, it definitely works that way, thats how i always filter out DLC from search results.

Ok, I tried again and I got a lot better results by filtering using the "games" tag.
Thank you all for the suggestion, it worked.
Though I did also get the following along with my search for "Assassins creed" (not complaining, just for a data point):

try searching star wars and see how many are actually star wars games.it yields 25 pages...by the 3rd page, none have anything to do with star wars

the search feature no doubt leaves a lot to be desired
