Maybe some incompatibility between WiFi 6 card and router or something like this?
wifi unit most be allowed through own router, same as tablet or other wifi unit, most newer router have a button with let wifi go through next 3 minute to learn them and accept them in router.

most will say, how can it work with steam but not the game you login with, because games dont ask about network it just use what is at default OS.

Connecting via a Wireless Router
Steam In-Home Streaming is compatible with most home networks. A wired network will provide the best result, and we highly recommend using an Ethernet connection if your In-Home streaming client supports it. Wireless and power line connections can cause intermittent failures due to interference. You can test your devices using a direct wired connection to determine if this is a problem.
For best performance we recommend using a router that supports the 802.11AC protocol. NVIDIA has created a list of recommended routers that are also good choices for Steam In-Home Streaming. If the previous option is not available to you, a router that supports the 802.11N via a 5GHz signal will be the next best choice.
To optimize your network:
Choose the 5 GHz WiFi band over the highly contested 2.4 GHz band. The 5 GHz band has a shorter range, but there is less interference from your neighbors and other wireless devices.
Choose a WiFi channel on the Access Point (AP) that isn't contested. A couple of smart phone and laptop programs are NirSoft's WiFi Scanner or NetSurveyor. You lose over 50% of your data rate when there is channel interference with your neighbors.
Set the AP to use a 5GHz channel near the top of the band; the top end starts at channel 149.
Try to see if you can connect when the AP channel width is set to at 40 MHz, over a 20 MHz width for 11n and 11ac. If 40 MHz works, then try 80 MHz that is enabled with an 11ac capable router. Higher channel bandwidths can provide faster speeds but are more sensitive to distance and other sources of RF noise.
but also this should change automatic with in 3minute. did you had manual static own cofigured router then this is possible, but most people just have, let router automatic do it through it's guide
nat and dhcp and so on. ( i doubt any cmd will help you , and to my knowledge almost no one can do it within 3 minute from nic card change and reboot pc then router should have clear its own table. ( but reboot router and pc 3 minute after ) to avoid alot of faulty finding, then it should have fix itself. ( dont think it help you, other then proof not that issue with router, and you do have access to steam, so now it make sense check cable again, do game work then. then it most be pc. until someone got a idea what happend here.
port forwarding or to that IP ( old cable connections ) wifi other ip-dhcp pool range then all will fail.
got no other idea atm.
ps.
and thats why automatic is better then static entrys, many have fail in this, then things change at ISP or own network static entry then , you forgot the little detail.
only you have the full network setup view, i and other only best guess what you did to cause this.
you cant have both this is faulty finding in nut shell, elmination in progress.
i try to figureout back to what you has before change, just so you dont have other new issue same time with new wifi.
I also tried shutt off firewall and forward all ports without success.
I’m thinking about some incompatibility between WiFi 6 card and my virgin media hub 3 router.
atleast you know now only that problem, and not other sametime, and thats why, do check routers software if it need update, not the first time that has been caught in bug with something in wifi. ( you might want to reset router also , after update and reconfig it with automatic, if not already done so. ) do not have static entry's, unless you know better,
A reset button, which sets the router back to its factory defaults.
router support 802.11ac
wifi 6 card 802.11ax
you will not get it faster then AC ( router is bottleneck ) but i think you already know that, should still have work with old protocol.
I‘ve tried yesterday Iceira, also updating all softwares.
do you have other wifi units tablet or laptop even do it work there, im guess desktop with new nic card or it could be odd if laptop actual work then as reboot suspect something wrong with hardware wifi6 card it can happend.
Don’t know if could solve the problem.
Yes, my laptop still working even after rebooting the router.
