I've been having this problem for a long while now. I've tried so many different things. I'm looking for genuine help or answers. Please and thank you.
Note: some games do support PS prompts.
Otherwise you might find a setting for it in some of the options.
Then there's Rocket League and Skullgirls.
You'll have to disable Steam's input mapper, or the games will just keep on seeing an XBox gamepad. Without the input mapper, your games will be able to read the PS gamepad directly.
Wow, that is not a lot of games. So not even a PS4 controller would work? These are the only games on steam that a PlayStation controller would work at all?
Could you explain where to find this Input mapper? Is this the same as the Steam Controller Settings?
Basically any game that supports controllers on Steam can be played with the DS4. You just get Xbox prompts because most devs don't do the extra mileage.
I don't have an issue with the Xbox prompts, since I regularly play on my 360 and PS4. I can easily interchange the controllers.
