Changing payment methods on in game transactions

Hi! For some reason I dont seem to be capable of doing what I just stated in the title, any idea why?

It's always best to ask in the game's own forum instead of in a general discussion section. Top right-hand corner of its Steam Store page -> Community Hub -> Discussions.

In-game purchases use your Steam wallet. This is intended, you can't change that.

In-game purchases through Steam (when you click on buy in the game it opens the Steam overlay to make the purchase) only uses the Steam Wallet funds.

In-Game Purchase Requirements

For any in-game purchases, you'll need to use the microtransaction API so Steam customers can only make purchases from the Steam Wallet. You can learn more about how to complete this integration in the Microtransactions Implementation Guide.

You can use the Steam Wallet to purchase individual items or to purchase your in-game currency.

If the game also has a stand-alone client, you might be able to go to the website for the game and make the purchase there with a different payment method. Just make sure that you are logged into the account you want the purchase to be on.
