Qustions on collections and installed games
Hi,

I just removed a collection from my library and apparently one installed game from there is now uninstalled.

I thought it would just undo the "group" of games.

Is this normal? I also noticed that although the game is not installed, the space that the game occupied on my ssd is not free.

Can you help me?

Thank you

Click the install button, it will remake the connection.

I've never seen a game become uninstalled because of removing a collection, though. Usually that happens because of not properly closing Steam, not letting it sync or using external drives that either aren't connected when Steam launches or lose power when Steam is running.

Thank you Crazy Tiger for answering, but if I click install nothing happens, it is as if should install it for the first time and I don't have space because somehow the space is still not free.

Perhaps having deleted the collection didn't do anything, maybe the game was already unistalled and i simply didn't notice.

It does indeed start the install process and you do need the extra space, cause it will start with preallocation and such. Then it discovers the game files and makes the connection.
So if I free the space and reinstall it i won't have the space occupied twice, right?
Also I located the game on my pc with windirstat, would it be good if I deleted that space and reinstall the game?

Or would you say is better to free a little space and let steam make the connection like you said?

Sorry for all these questions but want to be sure!
