Way to undelete profile comments?

I have accidentally deleted an old important comment from my profile. I accidentally clicked the delete button and there was no confirmation window. Is there a way to retrieve it?

It is a flaw in all profile page comments, be they a person's account, a group or other. They are similar to forum posts in some ways which confuses people when they think they will work a certain way. There is no way to see a deleted profile page comment, no restore it.

Actually you can see your own personal comment hostory including deleted comments but there is no way to restore them I guess.

If you find a copy of it in old history copy the entire text including the author date and time back into your comments.
But you need to be quick before Steam removes all traces. 3 hours ago possibly its gone now.

We've all left questionable comments in places years ago, forgotten about them and then things change. There's a super simple, but not very well known place where you can do this.
