Software to remap my keyboard based on game?
I vaguely remember having software once that let me set up keymap profiles for various games and automatically applied them when the game was launched.

Is anyone familiar with software like that?

Thanks.

How user friendly was it? A graphical interface to set things up or was it by writing scripts?

If scripts I would think AutoHotKey, with the auto-apply triggered when the game's window is active:

I recently saw this post which uses that mechanic: https://steamcommunity.com/app/894020/discussions/0/3047235309981882596/#c3047235309992840109

There was a GUI. Autohotkey looks promising though, thanks.

I use a Dvorak keyboard so games that use WASD and don't have remapping options are pretty annoying...

I was afraid of that. :(

I have a Wireless Microsoft Elite Ergonomic Keyboard. I have a feeling it might have been an option of the software back when I had a Logitech Keyboard... :(

High-end gaming keyboards comes with their own software for key-remapping as well as Macro Keys. Look for Logitech gaming keyboards.
