Scamming and impersonating steam support

Hello guys, I was checking how to report someone for scamming and impersonating a steam support member but it only let me do that if I have the profile of the person which I don’t, I already reported one of the scammers but the other one I just have his user from discord, I have lots of screenshots and a “certificate” of valve employment from this other guy, he’s trying to make pay him money so my account can be deleted, how can I report this issue with steam??

Report the user on Discord. Valve can't really do anything about someone trying to scam you on Discord especially when they're doing it without using the Steam account.

If you have the Steam account of the scammer, you should report them via their profile, if not report their discord account.

The "accidentally reported you" scam is a common one. Valve Employees / Volunteer Mods will never contact you via Discord for issues about your account.

Thanks man! I already reported the two people that did this on discord and one of the in here, I was just trying with the other one as he’s still trying to making pay money for my “suspended” account which I already got back after the hijacking and he’s providing me with this “certificate” that he’s a real valve employee so I thought I should report him here too but alas I need a user which I don’t have so I going to wait a see what discord team does. Common sense, people! Why would Valve in the first place want to contact you via Discord if they have their own platform?

Yeah I get it now, I was really feeling down yesterday when everything happened, they foul me and that’s on me, good thing is that I have my account back, everything is in order and I already did the reports! So never again!!
