Discord & Steam Muffled Audio

Hello, i'm playing Realm of The Mad God and voice chatting over discord however my steam game is muted or distorted during the call. I've tried adjusting steam and discord speaker settings but that just blocks the games sound entirely. Not sure what could cause this issue or how to solve it. Discord isn't much use to me if i cant run steam games and voice chat at the same time.

Any advice or help is appreciated!

If you use windows then try this. Right-click the audio icon in the system tray and pick the option "Sounds", which should be the second option from the bottom. On the new window select the "Communications" tab at the top and choose "Do nothing".

I tried that also. I think it's just the head set themselves. Its a "FindYourGo" Go Work Wireless on-ear bluetooth headset. Found where on steam where you select which input/output device is. I have headset and headphone. I have headphone for both but only headset for input. Think thats why. Annoying i can't use the headset the way I had planned, but the built in mic does okay.
