Trainz 12 not loading

I'm having a bit of a problem with Trainz 12. Whenever I try to load it up, it gives it the spiral for half a second, then doesn't load. Whenever I restart my computer, it I needed to restart my computer or reinstall the program. I've spent a lot of time and money into this game, and I don't want all of that to go to waste.

ok i had this same issue with other game and the best way to fix this is to firstly find out if its just the games fault or the pc's fault so perform a clean boot https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-ie/000102564/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-10-to-troubleshoot-software-conflicts
dont worry it doesnt do anything scary it just starts your pc cleanly without any background apps usually this fixes most not launching issues for me since its most of the time a background ap issue try the guide and let me know if it works

It's still giving me the same issue. It says TADDeamon.exe has triggered an assertion. It gives me two options, continue and terminate. If I click terminate, it pops up with the same issue a second later. If I click continue, the game still won't load.
