Showcase Question
Hey all! I'm unable to put a game in my, "Favorite Game Showcase." When it asks me to pick a game from the list or type in the name for the showcase it doesn't show up.

Any ideas?

which game?

Neon Code, I've tried different spellings of the name. The only thing I think COULD be a problem is that its 100% completed as far as achievements go. So It may be blocking it for the, "Completionist Showcase?"

The game has profile features limited so it won't be possible to use it or any other data from it in showcases.

Wow, had no clue some games had profile restriction!

Thanks for the info! :neon_happy:

It is meant to be temporary. The limitation would lift once the game became more popular, sold more units.

There was a lot of shovelware making it onto Steam with huge amounts of trivial achievements, just to pump up those numbers. Now the game has to prove itself worthy before Steam would allow that.

Please note, the game doesn't have to become popular in the normal way (like CSGO or even Five Nights at Freddy's). It just needs to sell X number of copies (NOT freebie steam key activations) and actually be *played* Y amount of time by enough people.

What "enough people" is, i think, is a mystery only Valve knows.

But there are plenty of indie games that come out of the "Learning"/"Profile limited" phase without becoming well known.

So don't be discouraged, your game might make it :)
