Can I gift a game to somebody from LATAM if I’m from USA?
I was planning to gift a game to my gf but I needed to search how to do it and I noticed that there is some region restrictions about gifting games where if the price has a difference of 10% you cannot do this, I understand that they do this because otherwise you would gift game by a cheaper price, but if USA price is more expensive can i still no doing this?

You could try. Steam will tell if it's allowed or not.

My friend from USA gifted me a game and I am from Argentina. So yeah, you can send gifts to USA to Latam, but Latam can't gift due to the price difference.

If the difference is greater than 10% either way, no.

It depends on the prices set by the publisher on each game. Some games can, others won't. It's not a set direction from one region to another. Outside of an actual region block on a game due to local laws or a publisher's refusal to sell a game to a region, the limiting factor is if the price in one region is different by 10% than another region.

I believe the only way to gift a game with higher than 10% difference, is to gift from the more expensive region. If for some reason the prices on Argentina are more expensive than in the USA, then yeah, it won't work for the american gifting the argentino.

There is no way to gift a game when it is >10%.

Well, my USA friend is able to gift me almost anything, and I live in Brazil.

For instance, he gifted me Satisfactory, where the price difference from USA to Brazil is +171.03%.
TFW steam outs your "USA friend" as not being from the region they say

Took me four days to see this, but...

I beg your pardon? Are you saying my friend isn't a citizen of the USA? Lol.
