need help with ps5 controller

hello guys i need help,i'm trying to charge my ps5 controller on pc ( i don't have ps5 yet ) but i want to play some games on steam,but when i start steam my controller gets hooked by steam and the lights on controller turn from orange to blue,yesterday i did this and let some hours but today when i try to turn on controller surprise,don't have charge..
already uncheck all controller box options on big picture,i can't found a way to fix this,help please

i forgot : to charge i'm using a cable,already charge with him,and to play i'm using a bluetooth adaptor

Can you play with it plugged in? Do you need special ps5 controller charging battery or station? This why I got wireless xbox 1 controller that uses AA batteries.
