Keep getting 'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error, please help?

Every time I turn my computer on I keep getting this, any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

ohh boy , have you figureout whise one it is ?

but thats vulkan driver ?

you can actual uninstall it in windows, and redownload it, but you can also turn of preshadow cache in steam client.

and what consequence is down the road with this off , i cant say that.

cant say whats the issue is, but what if you just have a vulkan driver issue and not VC++ , vulkan is still new kid on the block.

do not have win8 os,if you have it then its steam beta option, or contact own graphic card driver support.

its a Vulkan issue, and out of our hands

Erm no. I have Windows 10 20h2 latest version, latest Intel UHD 630 drivers. It happens on my laptop.

I downloaded latest nvidia driver, used "custom install" option, checked clean install, restarted system - now all good

Then you cant have game requirements, its been seen later that VC++ now through in a i cant do it captain dump code, then people dont have it. its a dump code, and most never see this then they do not have the issue.

This is learn doing last 2-5 years maybe, first wave was shader 3 or 5 in the past but now other things can effect this. ( possible its always been there but it require you actual miss some requirement, and thats the problem, then many do have them, they will not see them error codes. )

Reinstall Graphic driver and contact gpu card support vulkn driver is installed though gpu card support. ( make sure steam preshader is enable or you wont take advantage of it.


post is 5 years later, things had many updates including our gpu card drivers + vulkan , its outdated as hell here.
