Does sending a steam gift show your email address?
I'm going to host a giveaway soon and the way I want to do it is declare a winner, have the user friend me on Steam, after which I send them the game via gift delivery. Both delivery options say they will send an email, which is fine but I don't want my (the sender in this case) email address or steam username (NOT profile name, i.e Sarcophagus) to be visible.

Is that possible? Could someone confirm?

No, it does not show your email.
It shows a email from Steam, then the included greeting message you can write and " Your friend XXX ( Steam profile name) has send you a gift!"

Thats all.

Really? That's awesome! Did it get changed or something? Because I looked up older threads and it did say that it shows and people were asked to change their associated email address for a bit.

And also, is there a way to send someone a trade request with just one game and have that work as a "trade" where it's just basically giving someone a game?
New bought games can not be traded as items anymore.

Gifts might not show email. But guest passes still do.
