Negative Balance on Steam Wallet
on 2016 I refunded a game and somewhat I got -$8.70 USD on my Steam Wallet. It's been like that for 4 years, now, a few weeks ago I decided to buy something. I didn't liked the game and refunded it, the refund was accepted, but the balance hasn't changed Steam Please

You only get a negative balance if you chargeback. Refunds don't cause negative wallet balance.

Yeah I messed up, I refunded funds of the steam wallet, cause a problem with the bank and i got that negative balance, but i wanted to get it back to 0 adding more funds, thought that the refund would help since it adds funds to the wallet.
Also, i'm from Chile, my wallet currency should be CLP and Not USD. Is there a way to Fix this?

No, you did not refund. You did a fraudulent chargeback.

I'm surprised your account is not restricted from buying, activating new games and charging your steam wallet as this kind of action usually ends up in a restricted account.

(I know I'm late) I bought some games on this account which is the wrong account and this account is in the negatives (I used a friends saved card mistaking it for mine) and I want to request a refund, i would like it to go to the funds on this account so i can gift the right account the game instead of having to wait a few days for the funds to go to my card, was wondering if i do that will it just cut from the negative balance instead of giving me the full amount i refunded for.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
