Can I "add" A.C.Valhalla to my Steam library and expect streaming to work?
It seems A.C. Valhalla won't be available on Steam anytime soon.
I went ahead and bought it directly on UPlay.
I normally work/pay on Linux though and often I leave my win10 machine unattended and play using the excellent "stream" feature of Steam.
This has worked (almost) flawlessly with many games, including all A.C.s I own, but they were bought on Steam itself.
Now I'm forced to do something different; is there hope for success?

Add it as a Non-Steam game and see.

Were you able to add Valhalla to your Steam library? I tried and it's doesn't seem to be showing up in my games library

Filter or show installed or recent played will hide all other things not access yet.

I don't know about Valhalla, but it works just fine with Odyssey.
You need to launch the Uplay client before you start the game from your Steam library to get the overlay and broadcasting functionality.
