Left thumbstick??

Ive been using the same ps/xbox style controller for over a year with no issues. Now, all the sudden, the left thumb stick wont work for in-game movement with the assassins creed games, Castlevania and a bunch of others. Help please?

If you are 100% sure that your controller is not broken then maybe the left thumbstick has been unbound.

controller 100% works, left stick 100% will not work in games. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, the config on big screen looks fine. Not sure what the prob is. Never had any issues until recently. Like i said, ive been using this controller for a year with no issues.

is it for all games or just specific ones?

So far, assassins creed odyssey, AC3, Castlevania LOS. the stick works, i can navigate menus with it, etc. even in game. but when it comes to character movment, i cant move with it, only the D pad

Try disabling Uplay overlay for the Ubisoft games.

You can also try completely removing/Resettings your controller configs from Steam Its shown how to do it in the video i sent. Do the same for Uplay If uplay has that option.

Tried with mouse/keyboard unplugged, no luck. Also i watched the vid but couldnt find the game pad bind text in my doc.

That could be the issue then. It should be there. But im out of ideas im sorry i couldn't help you. Hope you find a solution.

Also love how there is no way to get help from steam since all they do is kick me over to the programmers sites. Great support.

Sorry to hear you are still having this issue. Well i don't think it's a problem on Steams end or else alot more people would be complaining about it. It could be something to do with your windows or PC in general.
