CAN'T REFUND AT ALL ANYMORE?!
Are you serious that games can't be refunded after 14 days, even if you have 0 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MINUTES PLAYTIME?! Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ this is ridiculous I have over 300$ In games I haven't played at all and can't refund simply because they were bought over 14 days ago. I'm seriously so far beyond pissed now. OH BUT ALLOW A REFUND FOR CYBERPUNK STILL EVEN THO IT RUNS BETTER THAN THE GAMES I'M TRYING TO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REFUND

*Edit* I'm salty as ♥♥♥♥ don't stress pretty much solved. Just not getting a refund.

But i get your point. They don't have to do ♥♥♥♥. It just seems they definitely should. That alone should be enough, the fact that looking at it, seeing it hasn't even been played a minute or installed once, should let them know like "Hey, he really hasn't played it at all" and not "Oh my gosh he played it for 20 hours then didn't like the story direction after that" But yeah. Yupp they deserve my money cuz my dumbass made a mistake. I got it. Moral of the story is they have no morals and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about your reasoning personally. If it falls out they don't give a ♥♥♥♥. Case closed, thanks fam.
The reason you are not likely to get refunds from Steam for purchases for purchases made much longer than 14 days ago is simple: They do not have your money anymore. Publishers like to get paid for games sold on Steam eventually, and they won't hand back that money just to be exceptionally lenient with refunds. Valve would have to pay for thos exceptions out of their own pocket - which would be a hefty setback considered there would likely be a few million gamers who would want to lighten their backlog for the chance to purchase newer games.

You agreed to the refund rules.

"anymore" it has stated that on the refund policy for quite awhile now. Your inability to read is no one's fault but your own.

That was agreed upon by the developer. Any other time, yes, you are beholden to the refund rules that you agreed to when you clicked the checkbox that said you agreed to them.

Buddy you understand they say that there are special exceptions, for example, one should be if you have literally 0 minutes of playtime in a game you're trying to refund. Doesn't it make sense to get a refund to a game you don't remember purchasing, or one that was bundled, or even one that doesn't work at all and you hadn't gotten around to? But please, allow for cyberpunk refunds to go on for three weeks for people with 20 hours while a game with 0 minutes can't be for ♥♥♥♥ dude

I don't think it's impossibly hard to see that a special exception would be to someone who, for example, literally has issues playing the game or can't, not someone who ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around for hours then decided they don't like it and got a refund past the 14 days still. Like several people. If there's no exceptions for it at all, don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ put "MOST REFUNDS AFTER 14 DAYS" Put "ALL REFUNDS AFTER 14 DAYS" Idk how that's hard to comprehend.

Exceptions are that, exceptions. Not the rule. Its still YOUR FAULT for not touching a game that you purchased that long ago. Here since you seem to be having trouble with that concept of an exception here's the definition for you, a case to which a rule does not apply

But I digress. 0 minutes, no refund, 32 days ago, 22 hours, refund, 21 days ago. What the actual ♥♥♥♥? Sense? I see none. Please tell me how it makes any.

Read what exception means. It makes completely perfect sense as you're BEYOND the stated limitations for the refund policy.

I'm just looking for what makes an exception, the fact that too many people complained? Cuz that's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I'm now just going through and refunding all my games in the last two weeks simply because I don't want to deal with this anymore, it's absolutely ridiculous that you can't resell video game keys or any digital copies, or even get a refund, but it makes sense for people who complain to get one. No sense.

You were given 14 days to determine if you wanted to keep the game or not. That's the rule. You can still ask for a refund, but if you are told "no" then that's it.

Okay, what exception did they make for cyberpunk? WHY Make an exception? Because enough people were upset? But not enough people are upset about being completely gipped at the fact they might have just forgot to take something out of their cart and when they have over 100 steam games it's not hard to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miss one or two. But nope the fact that I spend money and am a paying customer is nothing to them. It's literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dude I'm sorry but i can't see your point at all.

Yes

That is not what Valve says though, that is just what you want. Not much sense in starting a sentence with "Buddy, you DO know that..." and then just ad what you want to be but isn't.

Depends I suppose. How long over 14 days are we talking?

No idea what is going on with Cyber Punk.

Ok, so a question for clarification, how long do you expect them to hold the funds ready for a potential refund? How long before they can safely assume that the money is now actually theirs?

The developers of Cyberpunk made the exception. They allowed for refunds meaning agreements were made between them and platforms to offer refunds beyond the stipulations. If you can convince the developer of whatever game you're crying about to offer the same exception, then you're stuck with the terms as they are written which is 14 days.

Because the DEVELOPERS made the option available. Maybe do some research before screeching loudly like Karen in the grocery store.
