Mouse randomly keep clicking unless i spam m1 to stop it. M1 also doesn't start recognizing sometimes after 3 presses or more, causing me to spam m1 until it finally works
I've had this issue in Borderlands 2 where m1 will just decide to not work right, causing me to either not start shooting, or shoot and then continue to shoot after i'm done. This issue has crept into tf2, and it much worse there as i have to deal with that while trying to rocket jump, or snipe. This is so annoying and there's no fix, no discussion or anything i've found that says the same thing i have.

I've used up to 3 different mice, including a new one that isn't even a month old yet, and this issue is still there. If anyone has a solution, please help me, because i'm not about to break my new 80 dollar mouse by smashing m1 over and over again just to get a headshot. I'm on desktop, and there's no other mouse like devices connected to my computer.

btw, i'm on linux, so that'll help a lot

Disconnect any other input devices you have connected to your PC like a controller for example.

Ensure your relevant drivers are fully updated.
