Very weird connection issue

I am trying to log into steam, however, sometimes I get the "Could not connect to steam network" and sometimes I log in. Whenever I am able to log in I cannot download/install any game because of a new/random error message that comes up every time that always says "internet connection error" or something like that. This is when I am using my ADSL ISP (AXXESS). When I switch over to my mobile network lte (MTN), everything works fine. I have contacted my ISP(AXXESS) and they have asked me to do a traceroute however what am I supposed to traceroute? None of tmy steam games are downloading or installing.

start update all driver and Bios to that pc, then windows

thats is PC Brand support place or custom build pc then its Brand mortherboard support place

do check start menu for Brand folder sometime a auto update all app is there.

this is before all that traceRT that real dont matter if this is a driver issue and lack of update to pc.

then that is done , and it still dont work then you update own router software also.
and now you start get TraceRT cmd as your ISP talk about , google it.


do not have own damage cable or something that dont look normal.

Everything is upto date. I always keep my drivers and windows upto date. My internet connection is perfectly fine as well. I run other launchers such as epic and battle.net and they work fine. It is only steam launcher that has these connection issues. Not sure how to debug because my ISP would not really know what's Steam anyways

Can you please talk with ISP first then try defend them, you do point out all is working with mobil but not ADSL. maybe you should let them know that.

get a friends laptop to confirm same result as you do. more a ruleout own end issue.

if you want me to say all isp sux , then say so, not a problem for me, how can it be your problem into own isp then speedtest rule that out, but that dont maen isp can garantie traffic to partner into steam server and back from isp partner to own isp and then you.

if this is complicated to understand then that the problem here.
many think that speed is to all other thing thats not true.
( to my knowledge noone have a garanti to any online game place, maybe they should have that. ) or mention to what they can, as you said battle.net Epic or Origin or Steam , Rockstar
they are not even mention at all.

if you notice this just alot of user start notice this, covid19 to over croweded lines ,
please read steam network trouble shooting and what traceRT command is.

You sure this is not event sale issue into steam and its all the ISP narrow tunnel into steam thats the real issue. ( as i recall and have notice its same crap happend everytime then eventsale begin )

steam keeps dowloadig for ever, i dont have anyting else open. i even port forward. library ans tore are on black screen. does somene got a solution?

stop try hijacking thread, you dont have OP issue at all, you have a blocking issue add steam.exe to allow list in antivirus app and you dont need portforwarding if you have NAT on router.

and with portforward you could have make router even worse all traffic goto wrong port or ip. impossible for us to know what going on at your house. if multi pc or not.

I have days trying to find a solution, and steam does not work, i have tryed all, my pc its conected directly to the modem, i don have antivirus or firewall atm, i portforward whit the steam instrucions. Dude i have days. whit this issue, i have tried all stuff that i could find on steam. I have and OP issu here.

I have good internet access on all my apps, blizard, epic, on internet browsers, the only thing not working its steam.
