Account Lost
So, I already sent this to the Reddit to get help, but I figured I would come here as well:

Hello everyone!

This just happened to my brother, so I am hoping to come on here to find some help.

So, he just came to me and looked very distraught. Basically told me that he had lost his account or something. *This portion was updated* He got a rapid-fire of emails a little while ago saying that his email, password, and verification settings had been changed. What's strange is that he did have the email and mobile version of Steam Guard active, but it seems that didn't help. He says that he can't log back in, and it seems the verification was disabled somehow.

With all that being said, what can we do for this? Is there any way we can get in contact with Steam devs without login? Or will we just have to count our losses and start from scratch so to speak. Also, is there anything you all would recommend as far as changing other account passwords and such that he should do?

Anyway, sorry to make this so long, but he put a lot of work into that and is pretty shaken up by it, and I want to try to help him all I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All his progress (which was a lot), all his games (also a ton, and a bunch of ones he had paid for), everything just disappeared and all that's left is his name and pfp. First of all i dont think accounts just Disappear like that, Second the reason you're not seeing anything in his profile could be because his profile privacy settings are all set to private.

Hello there! So, I guess things changed and we can see all his stuff again. But still, his email and everything was changed, so we still can't log in.

https://help.steampowered.com/en/ your best bet is to make a support ticket, Also you should check his email there should be an email from steam that indicates that the password and email has been changed. if you're lucky you can recover it quickly through that email.

Yea, We've been looking into and working on it. The issue we had is that they changed everything, but above there was a way given to find it using only the username, so we should still be able to get back in. Thank you for your help!
