How to hide profile awards?

Is it possible to hide / remove "Profile Awards"?

This has already been requested multiple times.

The only way to 'hide' them is by setting your profile to private.

Yeah I think it would be a neat feature to have, being able to remove or hide them. I just got gifted one as a joke and couldn't find a way to undo it either.
