Steam App Freezes on Nvidia Shield Pro
Hi all,

I´ve got a few very annoying problems with the Steam Android app. I´ve actually had this problem with the app on my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B but recently upgraded to an Nvidia Shield Pro to stream to my Samsung Q85R through Ethernet which fixed a lot of issues I had with the Steam app but also introduced a few new ones.

1. When I quit a game, it seems like the overlay is still active and I can not move the cursor to get the Steam app back into Big Picture Mode. The screen completely freezes and I need to physically walk upstairs (multiple times) to my desktop PC to manually "activate" the app which then shows the app in Big Picture Mode on my TV.

I have tried to disable the Overlay option within the Steam app which works (the cursor moves) but then I don't have a working PS4 controller. I have tried GloSC but that didn't solve this particular issue.

2. Sometimes when I boot up the Steam app past the initial 3-checkmark options, the Steam homescreen freezes and doesn't display correctly and is shown like this:

I have to physically unplug the Nvidia Shield Pro and reboot my PC to get rid of it.

I have set up all games and Steam to run as administrator which also fixed a few games not booting up through the app. I have an excellent 257Mbp/s internet connection. I have tried GeForce Now, Stadia, Parsec but they're not cutting it out for me as they are all limited in some way and Steam is closest to being best for my setup despite having its own faults. I'm running out of options here, any tips?
