Adult Only Sexual Content doesn't work

Today I randomly noticed that I didn't see a game I saw others talk about in the steam shop. Found out that my Adult Only Sexual Content option wasn't activated (even though I bought plenty of sexual content games before but alas).
Now the problem is that the tick on that option just does not stay as soon as I go to another tab and back again. Already tried it on the desktop app, the website and the mobile app, always the same thing, it doesn't stay ticked and I can't see the games in the shop.

Same here I don´t get it, PARENTS are responsible to check what their kids are doing / seeing / playing at Steam. I (as an adult) don´t need the government to be my Babysitter FFS !!!

Because Steams age verification does not meet the standarts German laws require for that sort of content. It will probably not be temporary. Note that Steam only locket the store pages. If the games you are looking for are sold in keystores like Fanatical, they will most likely activate here.

German laws most likely. Been a thing for some time now, Valve making more and more restrictions for Germans buying naughty stuff.

Yup, all adult games are now banned in Germany and you cant even activate the "adult sexual content" tag anymore in your account preferences.

I LOVE being treated as a toddler by my government as a grown man with 42 years.

Just awesome. So now my government decides what I as an adult can buy and play. Even better, it can decide what I am allowed to SEE. Don't these people have more important things to do? Like keeping this fricking pandemic under control?! I swear, 2020 was one big game of Jumanji.

At least, they're not after violence this time... Games containing violence and gameplay are plenty. Games about "adult only sexual content", basically porn, are generally pretty horrible as games

Maybe, but how long until they decide that games with nudity in them are pornography, too? Then a whole bunch of other games will go down.
