Price changed on me while in my cart

I tried to buy Silent Hill: Homecoming for 3.99 and the purchase button wouldn't work, so I came back later, and the price changed to 39.99. Is there no way to get it for the price it was when I put it in my cart now?

Having something in the cart when the price reverts to normal isn't like a price guarantee trick. You actually have to buy the game while the game is still on sale. If you try to buy it once the sale is over, even if you added it to the cart beforehand, you've tried to buy it once the sale is over and you're not eligible for the sale price.

Click help --> steam support --> purchases if you see the game there you may still be able to get the sale price.

For people who tried buying things during the sale and couldn’t purchase it have they said anything yet? Around 12 EST their system went down basically

No and they probably wont. Their loss just as much as the gamers along with the devs.
