Seeing the currency of my country in the steam store

Hey!
I noticed just today that a friend of mine that lives in Norway can see his purchases in NOK(the norwegian currency). I live in sweden but have always seen the purchases in british pounds
I did some research and figured out that the currency is based on what country your store is based in. I looked at my steam profile I saw that I do indeed have my store set in Sweden(where I live), but I still see the currency in british pounds

How do I fix this? Can I fix it?

Your country is part of your Steam account settings. Your country setting affects what you see on the Steam store, the currency you see prices in, and the currency of your wallet.

If you have moved to a new country, or are living abroad for an extended period of time, you can update your Steam country setting when you complete your first purchase using a payment method from that country. If your location differs from your current Steam account store country setting you'll have an option to change your store region while you view your cart or as you complete your purchase.

Swedish Kroner is not a supported currency on Steam.

If you are seeing British Pounds, that is another issue altogether.

No, my country is set to Sweden. If I knew how to(if even possible) add pictures to a reply I would show you definite proof. Rarely post in these forums so I do not know how this works

Thank you for the forward, but that thread does not seem to hold any solutions and I find it very unecessary to participate in a thread where it is mostly just bickering and no helpful info shared.
The only thing I wanted to know was if there was a reason why and if it was possible to fix
Judging from both this thread and the other thread it "just be like that" and there is no solution in the present day. That is all I wanted to know
Needless bickering is unwanted and unneeded, life is easier without it!
