and app simple end is timewindows and gave up and thats the problem.
you cant fix old games that do not wait for steam , steam is alot bigger today and do alot of checkup and validate game files.
you could say they check to much, but that can also lead to user bugs if they dont.
ps.
you could go other way always start client first, then start game.
Then start the game from inside steam. (Your library)
then that is done , then use your windows desktop for that game you want to start.
i just did it and the it made the games work. So wait all i have to do is ironically "refresh steam"?
cant you see buttom right corner is steam is startup or not.
( not all user have show all downthere, point is you can click on it and see if it rdy or not.
same with Origin client or Uplay or Blizzard or Bethesda or Rockstars clients.
well i bet you understand it now. client first before game start.
