How to change recepient of gift?

So I bought a game during autumn sales for a friend to be delivered on Christmas. I just noticed I selected the wrong account for it to be delivered to. I am able to reschedule the gift delivery, but I can't find a way to change the recipient. If I refund the gift, I won't be able to repurchase it for the same price. Is there a way I can change the person this gift will be delivered to?

You can't change the recipient. You can refund it and gift it to the correct recipient, that's it.

The Winter event starts on the 22nd. Hopefully it will go on sale again.
