Hello,

My name is Emma and I'll try to help you to troubleshoot this problem...

Please, try some steps stated below:
(if you already tried some steps, just skip)

IF IT HAPPENS ONLY ON A GAME, I WOULD RECCOMEND TO GO FOR STEP 5.

Solution 1-Close all applications and do a restart;

Solution 2-Change game FPS : it is possible you're playing the game on a higher fps setting than your graphics card can support;

Solution 3-If you're using Nvidia graphics card, please disable/enable NVidia VSync:

Step 1- right click on your desktop and choose NVDIA Control Panel.

Step 2- Click on "Manage 3D settings", navigate to Vertical Sync

Step 3- if it is enabled, disable it and check if the issue is still occurring.
if it is disabled, enable it and check if the issue is still occurring.

If you don't have NVIDIA, please skip this step;

Solution 4- On your keyboard, press Win + I and from then choose Gaming category, press on game bar and disable "Record game, clips, screenshots"

Step 2: Now, from the same category, go to broadcasting, broadcasting and turn off "Record audio when I broadcast"

Step 3: Restart and check if the issue still occurs, if it does, keep trying other tips;

Solution 5- If you have this issue on a game, go to Steam, right click on the game with issues, go to properties tab, choose "Set Launch Options". In the new box that opens, type -windowed -noborder and click on the Ok button.

Try again playing the game;

Solution 6-Update the drivers:

Step 1: Press win + X, select Device Manager.

Step 2: Locate for Display adapters and click on it to expand.

Step 3: Look for NVIDIA and right click, then simply press update driver. Select automatically looking for updates, if there are updates available, please follow the instructions;

I hope these tips helped you, if they didn't, let me know and I'll come with other tips.

so i dont have NVDIA because when i downloaded it off the microsoft store it said that you needed a graphics card to work then i also followed the step of doing -noborder -windowed but it also didnt work so now i just restarted my computer and im really hoping it will ( the games im having trouble in is resident evil 7 and max payne 3 ) not only that ive played max payne for a long time and it was literally on my 30th hour on this pc that i started to have trouble.
