Missing Thread/Post Asking About Missing Threads/Posts and Steam Client
This Steam client is ridiculous.

I posted a thread entitled something like "Any Steam Plans To Fix Steam Client?" in Steam Discussions subforum... and now *poof* ...it's gone. Not moved or deleted according to this Steam client search when I input my username.

The irony is that I was posting to ask about if Steam devs are aware of the client issues regarding inaccessible messages and missing threads not labeled as "moved" or "deleted".

I should have just opened a Steam Support ticket and then waited until somebody from Steam replies. If they do this year.

Steam client devs must be otherwise occupied with other stuff.

This sucks but I suppose it's just the way things are.

Always check your post history first.

Just in case, don't click the highlighted notification for the "moved or deleted" thread as it can unsub you from it. It is a random thing. Just click "mark all as read" instead.

I'm going to post the copy/pasta about this...

It was merged into one of the pinned threads in the beta forum.

3rd post in your post history.

Thx (again) Hotsauce!

I have no idea how I would be able to tell my post was merged. No way for me to tell with this Steam client/search I'm using. I guess ya'll have access to more information about me & my posts than I do!

Maybe I should use the Beta?

--> They (Steam) should really pay you sumthin Hotsauce. You have been addressing Steam issues unpaid for ages -- essentially doing someone else's job at Steam; except they're getting paid.

Just my 2 pennies. Anyways - happy & safe holidays to you!

I have waited too long to jump ship from this client and use a web browser interface instead.

Just reading through your links I am presented with 2 obvious glaring detriments for this client:
1) I can't bookmark Anything (especially useful and informative Steam links).
2) I can't open up any helpful link in a new tab because -- no tabs! Thus forcing back-n-forth lunacy.

My resolution (in direct opposition to my lazy ways) is to stop using this interface for anything except purchasing & launching games (which doesn't always work either).

I need to keep a browser open and logged into Steam to fix many of my concerns.

I must have deluded myself into thinking I could carry on using this Steam Client as a one-stop-shop.

Thx again Hotsauce & Smol Boy Angus!
2. Control+click or middle mouse click links to open a new window. Not the same as a tab but useful.
