Not Enough Disk Space
I'm having an issue downloading any games to my new hard drive.
I have steam running on Hard Drive C: which is my main drive. When trying to download games on to my D: drive I receive a Error message "Not Enough disk space available to update StarWars BattleFront II(1.2 GB Required)".

now that i stated my isssue I'm going to tell you everything i've done to try and fix the issue.

- I've Cleared the cache

- I've deleted everything on the drive, which the SSD has 400 GB free space. (the drive is empty no spaced used) made sure it has nothing to do with the drive. I've downloaded Valorant and sea of thief's on it to make sure it's able to run games on it

- I only install steam on my D: drive, steam runs on it but only downloads about 10 gbs before saying there isn't enough space

- I've ran Steam on Administrator mode

Please help!

Try to make the downloads folder in the main Steam folder a symlink to somewhere else.

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/

Ongoing downloads/updates will have to be restarted.

Best to have Steam installed on the other drive though.
