If Steam Support wants something from you, you get a red ! in the upper right corner of your Steam client you can click.
Thats all.
There are also no "duplicated items" or the need for them to ask your email. They have all those information.
Report the user with the button on his profile for trying to scam you, then block, delete and move on with your life.

I hope you're bright enough to realize that person trying to scam you on discord, and you didn't give any info to him right? Report that person on discord for scam, and block him so doesn't contact you no more.
Let's make this clear, Steam support will not contact you, the only way steam support ever talk to you is via Steam ticket, which is only done on Steam in the Steam HELP section, not chat, not phone call, not email, or anything outside of Steam, only via ticket only.
