TRADE BAN ALL PURCHASING IS DISABLE
Account Notification
Fraudulent Activity Alert
Steam Support has reason to believe your account has been used for fraudulent activity.
Fraudulent activity is when the Steam Terms of Service Agreement has been violated or criminal activity was attempted. This can include using (or attempting to use) a stolen credit card, knowingly distributing stolen items or games, stealing other accounts or profiting from hijacked/stolen accounts.
We take the safety of all Steam accounts seriously, including yours, so your account will be restricted until we've heard from you. Purchasing, gifting, trading, buying and selling items on the Community Market, and cd-key activation have been disabled. Please contact Steam Support and work with us to restore these account features. (This is the message that I opened from the "Account Alert" in red)

What does this mean? I just woke up from sleep at 6 AM "November 11, 2020" and to my surprise, there was a red "Account Alert" notification and what exactly did I violate?

So I may still be able to play with my account but can't trade / gift / buy game/ sell any items on the market. (On November 8th, 2020 we made trading card with my friend he gift a lot of card) I made a transaction with him and he gift to me for more than 20 items from his inventory but he didn't use a "Steam Guard" like me, and will be held for 15 days) after I got the "Account Alert" the trade was canceled by Valve.

I need answers. No support to be contacted just sending a ticket which will take some time I don't know how long and waiting for a reply from Valve. I'm not doing drama, cheating, stolen credit card or scammer, I'm legit on steam guys.
I just panic..

Anyone experienced it already?

''Please contact Steam Support and work with us to restore these account features.''

It litterally says that.

Btw, did you do any chargebacks?
Not sure about this, maybe some misunderstanding, Valve need actual prove or evidence. So that you can explain the right thing back to Valve.

Contact Steam support like the notification says. If you can prove account hasn't been used for fraudulent activity the restrictions will be lifted

No one here can do anything to help you

They will not respond instantly, your ticket is one in a large queue. It could even be days before they respond, so you'll have to have patience.

I have discussed with my friends, they said my incident was like gambling
the reason the valve is suspending me I think makes sense. actually I didn't mean to do anything against Steam policy
Thanks Kiin :3

I can't really say, as I don't have insight into the reason they put the alert on it. For that, you have to speak with Steam Support. I can make assumptions on the why, but that's pointless as I don't, or even can't, know for sure.

We can really only point you in the direction and help you manage certain expectations. One of them being that it can take a few days to get resolved, so while understanding your panic is best put aside. Not easy, I understand that too, but there is no reason to stress yourself even more as that won't help you.

Just like everyone else said, there nothing anyone here can help you with beside Steam support, just wait for them to reply back to your ticket that you made on Steam, once they reply, read carefully so you fully understand support reply.
