try Tool section in home and reclick steam common redistributable files ) click on game to activate tools option, if you not know this already or how to get to it.reboot pc even, not sure if this is added or correct in OS and require full reboot or just steam only. ( most had to run directX from game devs in the old day and that still require reboot , but we dont see those reboot anymore.

The game already installed the redistributables needed when it 1st installed. It also has a folder with the files which I accessed and reinstalled directly, does not work. Already downloaded a bundle with all Visual C++ that ever existed til this day and installed everything, still doesn´t work...
The devs should patch this game, or recompile using a different language that actually works.
as i said , its complicated and maybe not depend on what you figure out if all this still require right Graphic card drivers sametime, its all about the graphic even the thirdpart app need to do them
check with iobit driver booster , maybe that can check intel driver if you cant update it , sometime intel support site is odd. with right intel model and you still have DL driver issue. with them.
and do check Brand pc or custom build mortherboard support site, you might find a update there also.
Reinstalled/Installed all Visual C++ In existence
Windows is already updated to last version
DirectX is already the last version
Intel HD Graphics Driver is already last version
Already performed scan disk repair
Already performed system files repair with sfc /scannow
Already tried to run the game as admin and in various compatibility modes
Already installed/reinstalled the redistributable files that come with the game
And a couple more I don´t even remember, but if you google about this particular error, as I said, I tried every single "fix" you can find there.
None of the above worked so far.
This game is like a NES game mate, even in a crappy old computer it should work fine.
but that code is useless then you google it, it cover so many things that its more luck to discover it and hit own same issue.
if you have a spare pc or other try login into that and see if you have issue there. or friends account. (i did that last time to get a bone to chew on )
check windows event viewer also. why a appcrash.
but do not forget its game devs problem. ( i help a game dev last time they did not know they had a new issue ) but either way, require test gear or diffrent pc maybe to get better detail then that code )
yeah some dont even fill that out , check store page and see who devs is and look it up there.

but do have all update , drivers and bios,
or they will through that in as reason. i cant help you untill you do.
not saying all devs do that, but some actual do.
I contacted the Nicalis support email already, so far no reply.
just to rule out , it that the only game that doing it ?
i dont have that gamr so it impossible for me to check it out.
