Trade on hold even with mobile authenticator
So I have this acc which am writing this with ( no mobile authenticator ) and I managed to trade items with other users that were on hold for 24h max, now I also have a second acc ( which has mobile authenticator enabled, limited account tho ) and my trade items are on hold for 15 days with or without mobile authenticator enabled on the second account. Why is this? I thought the mobile authenticator is supposed to allow me to trade/transfer items faster or without any restrictions.

Steam Mobile guard must be older than 7 days active on the account, to bypass trade holds.

Your Steam Mobile Authenticator must be active for at least seven days consecutively to be able to trade without holds.

You were able to trade with other users with 24h holds because you're friends for so long.

It also tells you about being Steam friends for at least 1 year at the top of that trading window.

The mobile authenticator was added to my second account 11 days ago. and I am friends with my second acc for 2 months now ( added on the 6th of october ). Is there something else that can affect this?

wow, so the authenticator does absolutely nothing if am not friends for more than 1 year?

It does. But not having the mobile app AND being Steam friends for 1 year will reduce but not remove the hold.

Are you trading to your 2nd account that limited, or are you trading from your 2nd account that limited? I don't think you can send out any items out to anyone, but you can receive trade items.

How the one year+ friend works, it downgrades the 15 days trade hold to one day only. This does not require Steam mobile authenticator, using the default Steam guard works as well.

The Steam mobile authenticator bypass trade holds, but please note if both parties are trading to each other's as in you giving items, and person giving you items as well, both need the Steam mobile authenticator, as both need to confirm the trade via app to approve, and it will be instantly finish.

Ok, also I edit my post above for you to check out.

But since you're sending items to your 2nd account, on your main account, you need to approve the trade via your Steam mobile authenticator, then it should send immediately.

there are no confirmations, i used my second acc to request the items, i used the second account to ask for the trade, and then confirmed it on my main account via mail, and now its on hold for 15 days, there is no confirmation to be made on the mobile app.

Alright, try sending it to your 2nd account via your main account instead of requesting the items via 2nd account.

yeah maybe that would work but in that case i will not be able to trade for 7 days, i dont really need that to happen :D
this is pretty stupid from valve to have a system like this but whatever, since am not in a hurry to have these idems traded.
