Xbox Series X Controller Issue

I am having some issues with the controller but only in Bluetooth mode. When I plug in a USB Type-A to USB Type-C adapter into my controller the problems go away however I want to use my controller wireless. I have already updated my firmware and updated Windows 10 to the latest version. I have also updated Steam to the Steam Beta Update which supposedly fixes these problems. Nothing.

In Rivals of Aether it detects two inputs instead of one (Detects two controller inputs when it should only be one).
In the Binding of Isaac Rebirth a pop up appears explaining an unknown device has been connected. Once I enter the controller rebinding in the options it detects two devices; the controller itself and something named "bluetooth le xinput compatible input device" which I can't bind any keys into.
In Hollow Knight the controller isn't detected at all.

I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing these problems as well.

I'm also having this same problem with Rivals of Aether too. :/ I literally just bought an Xbox Series X Controller last night and I tried testing it out with the game, and when using it in wireless mode, the game will act like I'm using two controllers at once, but the issue disappears as soon as I plug it into my PC. I too updated the firmware and everything, and tried the methods I could find to fix it and none of them work.

I, too, have this same issue. Is there just no solution? I've read guide upon guide and it always recognizes it as two controllers. It's incredibly, incredibly annoying. Garbage work from Microsoft, for ♥♥♥♥'s sake.

Had the same problem in Stick fight: the game, solved updating steam with beta updates, but is also solvable by disabling the wrong detected controller in device manager. Still, I can't solve in WRC8, where is totally messed up

For anyone who is still having this problem I found a temporary solution. Switching my steam client to Beta Updates helped solved my issues. The Beta seemed to have released an update recently which fixed my issues listed in my post.

found a fix, you just have to go into the steam controller settings and re-enable xbox controller support
