game data doesn't transfer to new computer

I just got my first gaming computer and I was excited to play my games without lag but none of the saved data has transferred over. for the most part this isn't too big of a problem but my charactors from the secret world Legends did not transfer and they have limited addiction items and levels I don't want to restart.

does anyone know how to fix this? I did message costumer service but I am still waiting for a reply.

you have to manually dig out that information for many games when you do a transfer.

You have to go out and look it up on the Internet.

so load the whole folder of the game I want on to a flashdrive and over write it on my new computer?

Game data is saved in different locations. If you're lucky, the game utilizes Steam's cloud storage for syncing saved data across devices. If not, you have to figure out where the game saves the data and transfer to the corresponding locations on the new computer.
