Screen Artifacts
Hi!

I'm having screen artifacts in Assassins Creed Oddysey. Artifacts began to show up when I overclocked (with Msi Afterburner) my graphic card up to +120 Hz (clock frecuency). Then I downclocked it till +0, but the artifacts still showing up.

I uninstalled Msi Afterburner but it doesn't solve the problem.

I don't think it's an AC Odyssey problem because first 100 hours it ran well, it began when I did overclock. However, I'm playing another game without that issue.

My specs are:

RTX 2080 Ti (Asus Strix)
Amd 7 3800x
16 Gb RAM 3666 Hz
Game installed at SSD

It doesn´t let me upload the image, so I will write the link below:

Any ideas? Thank you!

What exactly do you mean by "artifacts"? Do you mean the text in the upper left corner? That's some kind of counter display you can probably toggle on/off with a button while you're playing like one of the F buttons (F1 through F12).

Try wiping the GPU driver files entirely with DDU in safe mode and then reinstall the driver, see if that helps

you are running something to show the gpu/cpu stats in the corner
check startup items and remove everything not needed

Um...no. This is simply a key command to turn that info on and off if the "artifacts" they're referring to is the info in the top left of their screenshot. Absolutely nothing at all to do with drivers or the display adapter ("GPU" / graphics card).

A repeat of what I originally replied but I'm not familiar with this game. Are their startup options that might display this info? If there are the setting to display that info is in there, if there isn't an options settings it's a key on the keyboard that turns it on/off.

If this reply is referring to Windows startup that's the same as Escorve's suggestion that won't do a thing about it at all. It's not a Windows Startup thing, it's an option in the game.

Steam has an FPS counter but it's just an FPS counter it doesn't show any of the other info that's there in the screenshot.

I'm not seeing this artifacting. I do see an OSD performance overlay & some weird moon eclipse thingy. I dont think these count as artifacts

I'm assuming it's a language barrier kind of thing. They're from Spain, says their profile.

I mean the moon eclipse thing, on the top of the Screen, the OSD is not the problem, it's an OSD performed by MSI Afterburner I can easyly turn down
