Warning went buying Total War Shogun 2

I already bought Total War Shogun 2 Fall of Samurai, and now i want to buy original Total War Shogun 2 but there was a warning like "Shogun 2 Collection: According to our records, you already own one or more of the items included in this package on Steam" and then i try to buy the dlc but it fail because it said that i dont have the game.

I know that Total War Shogun 2 Fall of Samurai is stand alone game, so how to solve this ?

This is a known problem since CA switched Fall of the Samurai from being a DLC to a standalone game but still part of the Steam ID of Shogun 2.
Better ask on the Shogun 2 forum about it, i think some users there might have some ideas about what you could do.

Isnt the collection just dlc?
So you would still need the shogun 2 game.

The free shogun 2 does also not show up in store as owned.

There are two Shogun 2 collections, one with just the DLC and one with the base game also included.

The problem is, Fall of the Samurai was once just a DLC for Shogun 2 but then got relabeled "Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai" and switched to being standalone.
Which the OP bought at some point.

@OP From what i read you should still be able to buy the collection with the base game included, no matter if you get the warning about already owning some of the DLC.
Thats a false trigger from the time Fall of the Samurai was a DLC for Shogun 2.

When i looked before, shogun 2 did not show as owned.
Since i used your link once, now it does.
