it not our job as steam user to HOT fix what system dont seem to support anymore.
and if steam even want to try fix it, thats another matter or can.
Try manually clearing Steam's web cache, then try logging in. If you use the same password across multiple services, it may be prudent to change your passwords on the off-chance someone's been spamming your accounts with login attempts prompting captcha necessity.
As to the other clients, contact their support. Not much help to be found here.
ask that IT department or whoever is in controll, but do mention its funny that timeslot run into same issue as other with sll/tsl certificates issue with secure in crypted tunnel , and alot of other IT brake downs on the same time, and you know how it is soon or later not all fit in same box.
even i have seen outdate app backdoor upload tunnel dont work. same BS and im on win10 and have to get a modifyed certificate to get it to work.
its simple not that easy to say only win7 issue then other app with own certificate can do same thing. ( and thats why its good you notice the time index on the problem.)
Should I try the manual certificate change then? I've seen that solution in other threads but it was always about Windows 7.
thats your choise, as normal steam user , no one here can put head on block and say go for it, steam dont like things link so this is no diffrence, files from unknown source can give issue with what steam allow, and yet maybe not a steam issue but could be later. so its your choise.
do know the difftrence here can you say go for a fix then MS has stop lifecycle and all support
and same with certificate time/date stamp okay on them to site you dont own.
i hope you get it, user choise and know the consequence of them if you do it.
its a nice try ( but that wont fix /Discord/Origin )
steam settings is for steam only
3 things down on same time, that not possible , almost same as line is cut or in this case a certificate is outdated
discord working uplay, blizzard Origin and Rockstar, steam ( the client's is up )
check with local cafe or other known site/store near you
