Hello, yesterday i got scammed, lost account) i had like alot games dayz, dlc, euro truck 2, Life is strange 1-5 episode, arma 2, arma 3 alot purchases in csgo, bought new operation and other stuff.. anyways.. i made a ticket steam support gave them last 4 digits credit card, send like 20+ screenshot of purchases checks, some cd key and what i got from support.. i got sms by steam, your steam guard was removed from from this account (account name) i send added picture to ticket..

Spend like 80+ eur on steam..

got this message from steam support..

Like 30min ago, i read it and i was so disappointed.

after that i wrote all my credit card information and added picture of my credit card...

I dont know what i need to do.. HOW i prove..

Yes i didnt created account.. my friend gave me this account when i didnt had account and money to buy prime in csgo.

Well, looks like you're not the account's owner, you didn't create it. If Support already gave an answer there's not much to do

I'm sorry, but you can't prove you are the owner, you did not create the account.

It sucks, but you have to start over, this time be sure to create your own account and not use a gifted account.

your friend will need to recover the account. what you and your friend did was a violation of the SSA and grounds for all related accounts to be locked/terminated. it does not matter what you spent on the account, if you didnt create the account, you have no right nor claim to the account. this is normal for most online accounts. they do not allow nor recognize the sale/transfer of ownership of an account.

please read the SSA, then make your own steam account and start over.

the person that made the account is the owner. that is what matters. you didnt make the account, you have no ownership claim

as far as steam support is concerned, you are someone trying to steal an account.

Since you are not "your friend" that "gave" you the account, you literally cannot prove YOU own it. Because you do not. Your "friend" does. And always has, no matter how much money you have put on it. It was never yours.

No! cause once games is installed on that account your friend owns them. Its his account.
All games in that account are tied to that owner.

Are you not still in direct contact with this "friend"? Are they in your real world friends? If they are, ask them what is up with their account that you have been using.

If they aren't in your actual real world friends... guess what: they took their account back after you added all that stuff to it, and now get to enjoy their account with added stuff.

THAT is why you should never try and trade or buy accounts. The original owner is 100% the only owner that matters.

ahem, you can prove your ownership by sending steam support what you bought, its 4 digits of your credit card that you bought an game. your adress and uhhh idk the 3rd one hope this (might) help lol

I think you might be 4 years too late.

Also OP didn't create the account by his own admission. So he's not eligible to recover it. Valve will only give give access to the account creator. Maybe read the topic.
